Scholarships Now Available
The Buckeye SWANA Chapter offers scholarships for children and grandchildren of Buckeye SWANA members and for student SWANA Members.
Eligible applicants must be the son, daughter, grandson, or granddaughter of a Buckeye SWANA member in good standing or a SWANA student member based in Ohio.
Category 1 applicants include graduating high school seniors or a graduate equivalent certified candidate who have been accepted for enrollment in a junior college or a 4-year college or university.
Category 2 applicants include full-time college or university students who are entering their junior or senior undergraduate year and pursuing a degree in environmental science, engineering or another major related to the solid waste management.
A maximum of two applicants are eligible for up to $1,000 each per year. These applicants may be forwarded to SWANA National to be considered for a larger scholarship of $1,000 to $5,000 through the Grant H. Flint International Scholarship Award Program through SWANA. We encourage you or someone you know to apply.
THE APPLICATION DEADLINE IS MAY 1, 2018.
